Our detached youth workers at The Avenues Project go out Monday to Thursday to meet groups of young people on the streets of Bensham and Saltwell. They also contact young people in cafes, parks, and the Leisure Centre. They are often on foot or look out for the green mini bus.

Many of the young people we've met have become regular visitors to The Avenues Project We also have trips away to all sort of places.

The detached youth team recently receive a "Star Employee Award" for their excellent youth work. Congratulations to everyone involved
